Andrea Weitz
Founder & President
Dr. Andrea Weitz is an Emergency Medicine physician based at the University of Wisconsin. Her love of animals goes back to childhood when her father's work brought the family to Australia and she fell in love with the country's awe-inspiring wildlife - as well as the neighbor's dog, Anna. As an adult, Andrea has been committed to fighting for improved health and wellbeing for humans and animals alike, graduating from medical school in 2014 and rescuing animals in between hospital shifts. ​
Andrea has a passion for all animals, but particularly horses. In her spare time, she practices the art of Dressage but also just the art of riding with a partner and a friend (her horses).
