Creating community, one animal at a time
DW hold events and participates in other ones! We are slowly introducing ourselves to the community at large and making people aware that rescue should be a part of everyone's lives. Whether its a pit bull who gets a bad rap, to a kitten with a disability to even a horse that was turned out for "dangerous" behavior, we believe that with love, there is a way for a peaceful existence with humans and animals alike.
Our events are held throughout the year and all proceeds go to the care of the animals.

We are at Nutzy Mutz in Midvale almost every Saturday from noon to 2pm! Come see us and a pup that is available for adoption!
We will be at the Wine Reserve in Oregon, WI on June 17th for another guest bartending event! Last years was a HUGE hit so come, have a drink, meet a pup, have a great chat and support us!
